Manufactured from high strength engineering polymers that are resistant to most fuels, oils and chemicals.
Poly Flex uses a colour coding system to visually identify the hardness of each engine mount, that is:
- Orange = 50 Shore Durometer Hardness(SDH) - 'A scale'
- Blue = 60 SDH-A
- Yellow = 70 SDH-A
- Green = 80 SDH-A
- Red = 90 SDH-A
With the growth of the Poly Flex business into Canada and USA we were requested to look at anti-vibration mounting systems for 12, 15, 18 and up to 32 and 34 litre engines to obtain improved results for reduction of harshness, noise and vibration plus increased stability of the machinery installation and this request has lead to the Ci Series of mounts.

Ci Series are based on inverted chevron infinite core (hence Ci Series) which incorporates all the designed attributes of the original Poly Flex marine mounts with fail safe as part of the build. With more horsepower coming from less overall mass of modern high performance engines and with stronger and lighter boat building techniques this demanded new solutions. Ci Series offers high performance mount systems for high performance engines in high performance boats. These mounts suit large installations where placement of the engine and reduced but controlled engine movement under propeller loads, are very important. |
The results are now starting to come in with boats in the water and the feedback from the builders is all positive and major orders are increasing with some of the largest boat builders in the world.
This series is normally supplied with a dark red base and the range of colour coded cores to indicate the Shore A durometer of the polymer core. This allows us to select a mount system to match the demands of the machinery, for best results. For large boat companies we also offer, to order, this series with a special custom white base to match the white engine room finish. (Large accounts only)
This Ci Series joins the CTF Series, the Y# Series and the SQ Base Series of Poly Flex anti-vibration mount that provide over 1700 to select from.
Flexible Disc Couplings: Designed to act as a dampner between gearbox and drive shaft while still maintaining strength, rigidity and performance. We have over 200 models (10 to 2000 HP) and are continually expanding our range.
Poly Flex flexible disc couplings are manufactured from high strength engineering polymers that are resistant to fuels and oils.

It should be noted that if your gearbox has any obstructions such as oil pumps, etc, near the output flange it may be necessary to fit an adaptor between the gearbox flange and the coupling.

The Poly Flex 'B-series' machinery mounts are manufactured from engineering grade polymers that are resistant to most fuels, oils and chemicals. (contact Poly Flex for chemical resistance table)
This model of mount is ideal for simple support or support/levelling of machinery.
