Nanni Diesel designs, develops, produces and distributes a complete range of marine engines from 10 to 320 Hp. The facility in La Teste now marinises the Kubota super E-3 series, which is based on a technology that optimises fuel consumption to limit emissions of pollutants to well below current standards. Calculations show that the Nanni Diesel 6.240 TDI engine emits 20 times less CO than allowed under the BSO 2 standard, and 5 times less than the amount allowed by the European Directive 94-25 EEC; 2 times less HC and NOX than allowed by these same standards and directives, and 2.5 times less smoke than the Bosch index.
